Breed Improvement Project in Tribal Belt

Objectives

  • To increase breedable livestock coverage from 30 % to 60 % under AI.
  • To establish infrastructure for breeding bulls - for AI or NS.
  • To enhance the productivity at least @1.50 % per year in Cattle and 1.0 % in buffaloes.
  • To allocate better resources for livestock rearing.

Financial Provision

  106.31 Crore (  74.42 Crore Sanctioned by State Govt. and   31.89 Crore Sanctioned by Central Govt. under OTACA)
